Black & White

18 Mar

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a successful St. Patrick’s Day, and are fully recovered from any green beer-induced hangovers. I celebrated on Saturday night, so I spent the majority of Sunday recovering. Today marks the first day of my two week stint doing jury duty. When I got the letter in the mail saying I had been summoned, I was pretty surprised because I don’t know anyone my age who has been called yet. All of my family members who have been said it’s an interesting experience, so it will be exciting to see what it’s all about!

White Forever 21 Bow Top, Lulu's Ankle Strap Heels

For today’s outfit, I showed my take on one of spring’s hottest trends, black and white. I love this combination because it’s classic and easy. We all have black and white pieces in our wardrobes, so this is a trend you don’t even have to spend money on! The black pencil skirt makes this a perfect outfit to wear to the office, and the bow blouse adds a girly touch! I was so excited to wear my new ankle strap heels from Lulu’s. I had just gotten them in the mail right before I took these pictures, and immediately put them on. Ankle-strapped heels are another trend I’m loving for spring!

Thank you!! I spent months searching. I fell in love with a Steve Madden pair just like these but they were $80 and so many people said they were uncomfortable. These Lulu’s ones were only $26 so I thought it was cheap enough that if they hurt, at least I didn’t waste my money! So far they feel pretty good!

Thank you! Luckily I got out early today, but not before the fire alarm went off twice! It’s quite the experience.
