Peplum & Pink

12 Apr

I’ve always loved the combination of pink and navy, especially in the warmer months. I’ve always thought of this pairing as super preppy and girly. As much as I love a good piece of jewelry, there are some times where I just like to keep it simple and let the colors make the statement. I try not to discriminate when it comes to jewelry, but if you were to look in my jewelry drawer you’d immediately notice my preference for gold. With pink and navy, I think silver is the best option in terms of jewelry. Silver complements the two colors, without taking the focus off the outfit. Keeping with the simplicity theme, I added a nude pair of pumps to finish off my look.

I didn’t realize until later that my nails perfectly matched my pants! I am seriously in love with this Essie polish.

I just checked out your post, and I agree! I haven’t had Internet so am slacking on keeping up with posts, but I’m starting to think we were separated at birth… Husband/boyfriend from St. Louis, you’re from Seattle and live in LA, and I have family in both those places. Now we’re dressing alike. I love it!

Great minds think alike! I totally wore (and write about) a royal blue and bright pink combo as well, but exactly in reverse to yours! I wore blue pants and a pink top! You look great in yours!
