Preppy Black and White Outfit

It just hit me how much black and white I’ve been wearing lately. SO. MUCH. I really need to add some color to my fall wardrobe! I think it’s because I’ve been really into classic looks lately, so this neutral color palette has been an obvious choice. Another style I’m loving lately? Menswear-inspired looks. There’s something about fall and menswear that seem to be a match made in heaven. I’m talking oxfords, blazers, oversized cardigans, and everything else that can be borrowed from the boys. I even wrote about menswear-inspired fashion for an upcoming column on Cincy Chic!

What’s great about borrowing from the boys is the comfort level. You really can’t go wrong with flat shoes and warm long sleeve jackets and sweaters. In my world, cold weather = laziness, so I’m not going to hesitate at the chance to wear the warmest, most comfortable option.

Thank you! I have so much black and white in my closet, that it’s hard not to always wear the two together!
