Red & Yellow

29 Oct

Yellow Sweater

I don’t know why, but ketchup and mustard (red and yellow) is one of my favorite combinations. The colors seem like polar opposites, but when paired together the right way they just work. I think I like these two colors best when yellow is the dominant hue. Maybe it’s because I have more red accessories than yellow, but I love a yellow top or dress with red accents.

I know it’s only Tuesday, but this week has already been so much warmer than last week. I was seriously worried that winter was here to stay, and I was far from ready. I’m definitely going to enjoy these last few nice weeks (or days?).

LOVE LOVE LOVE the mix of red and yellow! I can never seem to pull it off well, (similar problem with orange and black lol). So glad it seems to be warming up a bit too, I wasn’t ready to have to wear a full on jacket all day everyday! lol

Thank you, Rochelle! I bet you would look great in these colors! Aren’t you so happy about the weather? It would have been and even LONGER winter if it started right now!

Agreed, I’m not ready for winter yet! Fall was too short. I’m not ready for coats and freezing in the morning before my car heats up :/ Love these two colors together, honestly I never thought of wearing these two colors together until now! Hehe, super great! 🙂

It definitely was way too short. I haven’t gotten any new winter clothes, so that’s a good excuse to go shopping 🙂 Let me know if you wear the colors together. I’d love to see!

Thank you Christy! I usually stay away from mixing crazy colors, but it’s exciting when it works 🙂

Love this!! 100% fall look. Mustard is a fun color to incorporate into your outfit. I used to actually hate the color but now I find it super flattering! Funny how our preferences change…

Thanks, Grace!! I feel like I used to not care for mustard color clothes either. Sometimes it can look pretty drab, but adding some color definitely helps!
