White Sleeveless Summer Dress with Kate Spade Bow Earrings

Happy Thursday! This is one of those weeks that has flown by, and I am totally fine with it. I’m carrying some extra baggage (under my eyes), and I don’t think any depuffing serum is going to fix this situation. My weekend consists of a wedding, and not much else (hallelujah). This is the first wedding out of my group of friends, so I think everyone is extra excited to reunite and celebrate! I’m in love with the dress I bought a few months ago for it, so it’ll definitely be on the blog next week.

I thought today’s dress was the perfect excuse to head to the flower park again. Seriously, can flowers live year round because I want to spend every day here. Unfortunately, the sun washed a lot of the pictures out, so you can’t see the gorgeous detailing of the dress. It’s almost like a lace/crochet mix, and it comes in a daisy pattern. What’s not to love? The detail that really sold me was the yellow trim and ruffled bottom. Seriously, it’s the little things that get me excited. This is another Cremieux purchase, which you might remember is a favorite brand of mine. It’s kind of been a weird summer, so I haven’t worn it at all, but love that it’s feminine in the details and a little bit sexy with the fit.

PS- I’m in the process of moving out in the next few weeks, and need some DIY advice. I have a nightstand I’m going to paint, and want to finish it with a glossy sheen. I was pretty set on a teal blue shade, but after obsessively pinning painted furniture, I’m kind of liking a vibrant orange color. This is the stuff that keeps me up at night, no joke. I’d love to hear any opinions because I’m extremely indecisive when it comes to these situations!

Love the dress! As for the nightstand, I’d say go for the orange! I love re-doing furniture, and sometimes it’s fun to go for the unexpected, especially when you’re moving into a new place!

I love this dress! That yellow trim is what pulls it all together and that detailing is gorgeous! Perfection. I’m not a great person to offer painted furniture advice – I tend to stick to basics like shabby chic gray or blue, very muted tones. But if you love bright colors, go for the orange!

Love how the lining ends before the overlay of the dress. So pretty!

Good luck with the move- I am literally the WORST mover on the planet, ugh. Haha. I’m sure you’ll fare better than I! 🙂
