Red, White & Black

ASOS Black Sleeveless Collared Top

Happy Tuesday! I’m in the midst of one of the busiest weeks of my life, but am trying to be more adamant about getting back to my regular posting schedule. While my hectic work schedule is the main source for my lack of posting as of late, there’s another reason I feel like I haven’t had as many outfit posts. To be honest, I’ve been feeling a little bored with my wardrobe the past month or so. Maybe it’s the long workdays, but I find myself not getting as excited to style a cute outfit for work. I’m blaming it on dresses, because who doesn’t want to throw on one piece of clothing in the morning and get out the door? While IΒ live for my dress collection, I also think they have the tendency to make me a lazy dresser. There’s no mixing and matching, and since I’m a creature of habit, I tend to reach for the same shoes and jewelry for each dress that I wear. This week however, since I’m trying to be a power multi-tasker, I decided to ditch the dress for a day and opt for a colorful pant and the comfiest ASOS top. Plus , I don’t know what’s more fun and sophisticated than a red, white and black combination!

PS- be sure to come back tomorrow. I’m hosting an exciting giveaway that I cannot wait to share! Here’s a hint: it involves one of the things in my blog name πŸ˜‰

I love bright trousers, I too have a pair of red cigarette pants that jazz up my work wear every now & then. I am also guilty as charged when it comes to dresses, who doesn’t want to be able to just throw a dress on in the summer in ten seconds flat. Voile! I love this out πŸ™‚

Couldn’t agree more! The Peter Pan collar makes this outfit so special.

I totally agree with you! I love dresses, but it’s sometimes too easy of an outfit. Love the ensemble that you put together with the pop of red!

Thank you Jen! I’m trying to be better about separates lately, but don’t think I’m going to feel that way getting ready for work in the morning πŸ˜‰
