Bauble Wish List: Pearls

8 Oct

I think we can all agree that pearls make everything fancier. I can put on pearl earrings or a pearl necklace, and I instantly feel more sophisticated and ready to take on the world. In the past year, we’ve seen a modern take on the classic pearl. It all started with the Chanel Spring 2014 runway show, where Karl Lagerfeld introduced the oversized double pearl choker necklace. Since then, pearls have seemed to make a resurgence back into the forefront of fashion, and I couldn’t be happier! I love that this refreshing new take on a classic piece of jewelry makes pearls seem more wearable for day or night. These new styles are also not as serious and make an outfit a lot more fun. Are you finding new ways to reinvent your pearls?

This totally inspires me to break out the strand of pearls my parents got me as a 21st birthday gift! 🙂
