Week in Review

19 Jun

As I’m typing this, I’ve just gotten home from a 13 hour workday, and I am wiped. Sleeping sounds amazing for my weekend agenda, but on the other hand, it’s my last weekend at the house where I live with my friends. Talk about conflicted. I’m thinking a long post-work nap tonight, and then I’ll be good to go for the weekend.

Do you have any fun weekend plans?

1. Lulu Frost is having a sample sale, and I could easily spend all my money on it. Her jewelry is so different than anything else out there, and you can tell immediately. I love these sparkly flower earrings that are part of the sale. The brass and sparkly stone combination give off perfect old school glam vibes.

2. Rainier Cherry and Orange Campari Cocktails. When I first saw this drink from the Cooking and Beer site, the fashion blogger in me came out. I instantly thought “color-blocking”, as if this drink just totally pulled off a killer pink and orange outfit. While it’s not wearable, this seems like it would taste just as good as it looks. Can you ever go wrong with orange and cherry together?! Add vodka, and I think that answer will always be no ;).

3. Um, this house is what interior design dreams are made of! I love the idea of adding color in unexpected ways (which is what I did with my bedroom), so this is right up my aesthetic alley. The yellow couch and pink printed chair especially caught my eye.
